Last Friday was the night I realize that the club and I are not cohesive. Don’t get me wrong, I like pounding music just as much as the next person. I believe it’s being around strangers that can rub up on you as they feel, as well, make unnecessary  advances that are not welcomed. Or they give you glances that has such a mean undertone to it, you guys know what I mean. Seriously, is their a place you can go and relax, listen to good music, have a drink, and have intelligent conversation.

I know I’m not even 21 (Feb 5!!!), but does this place actually exist. Well okay, I know they exist for business men/women, and people of a certain age, but come on! I know there are others my age that wish they had this atmosphere. Or….

I don’t know. Just something I’ve been thinking about. Does it exist for gay individuals?

…I revisited the club this pass Friday night. I went in with the attitude I would enjoy it. And surprisingly, I did. I actually danced (I never dance…in public at least), not with anybody, but with myself; in my book that is good enough. I tipped the male dancers and watched the male dancers out dance the female dancers. Overall it was pretty damn great.

Though I ran into some people that… I thought I would never see at a gay club, it was fun. Awkwardness never fails to follow me around. I can’t wait to return on my birthday, just 10 days away. I can actually drink, hopefully have a group of friends with me too.

… now that I’m 21 my mom felt it was time to talk to me about drinking. Especially drinking in a club setting. She doesn’t want me to have my drink spike. She believes horrible things will happen to me, as well, I’ll go crazy like my father’s brother did. LOL

Moms - Where do they get these things from.

I’m definitely working on my dance moves. Tonight was just a little too… can I say, tight. LOL Draw your own conclusions.
